Well I made it to IDAHO-YIPPY!!! It is amazing how well ME and the KIDS did with the drive. We left Arizona at 8:00 am made only a few stops along the way. We made a bathroom stop outside of Wikeup AZ and then quickly got back into the car and was on our way again. The kids were fantastic. I had prepared them for stopping in Las Vegas but we went through with no questions asked so I just kept going. On the way to Mesquite everyone was getting antsy so I told them once we got there we would find a McDonald's and we would all get out and they could play. So when I pulled into town they were very excited to know they were getting a break. I got everyone out, Livy needed a major diaper change and we all really needed a bathroom break. We all rushed in. All of a sudden Camry comes flying into my bathroom stall, lying on the floor hysterically crying. I kinda freaked at first because I didn't realize she was crying, and I thought it was nasty that she was on the floor, and it really shocked me that she barged in leaving my door wide open. I actually thought she was goofing around. She finally gets her composer and tells me that she was in her bathroom stall and pulled open the door and it smacked her right in the middle of her forehead. Oh, as she was talking to me I could see this nasty goose egg growing in size and color. I felt bad for not being so understanding in the beginning. Halli rushed out of the bathroom and asked one of the workers to get us a rag full of ice. We then decided to get back in the car for Camry's sake, give her some motrin and let her rest until she felt better to play. We ended up making it to Cedar City, Utah before we stopped again. We ate, the kids played for 20 mins and again we were on the road. I was then shocked to learn that I just lost an hour due to day light savings time, I had already planned on staying at a friends house in Cedar Hills(by provo) Utah and realized I was going to be getting there later than I had planned. We arrived at the MOORE'S HOME at 9:30 their time. Which meant we had been in the car for 12 1/2 hrs and only stopped for 30mins of Mickey D time. How amazing is that. I was so proud of the kids and quite frankly of myself. If you know me well, driving is not my strong point. I had only gotten about 2hrs of sleep prior to the drive the night before because Livy was really sick with a high fever. She continued that on the drive and the night we were at the Moore's house she could only sleep for about 10 mins here and there because she was so uncomfortable and miserable. It was a really long night. We left Utah at 8:00 a.m. and drove the rest of the way to Idaho. The last 3 1/2 hours came quickly and easily. I am so grateful for such a smooth drive and I am so PROUD of our kids they were wonderful. They really made the drive so much easier.
