***HOME***

Where do you call HOME?
What does HOME feel like to you?
What do you love about your HOME?

These are just the few questions that come to my mind as we have come to the decision to move from our HOME. During my growing up years we moved a lot. By the time I was in the 8th grade I believe we counted over 42 different moves. It was crazy, nothing was consistent, and yet it was exciting to start over and see what the new place would be like. When I was 12, I moved to Thatcher, AZ at the end of the eighth grade year. This was the first time I maintained living in the same town for 6 years. That was the first time I actually had somewhere I called HOME!

Since we have been married Casey and I have been pretty busy moving around as well. Some of it was for work-during the summers. We have lived in our AZ neighborhood now for over 3 1/2 years and this, in our marriage, has been the longest place we have lived. We have loved it here, and it really has defined what I call HOME! The word HOME to me isn't relevant to the actual house I live in. My HOME to me is more about my surrounding, my neighborhood, my ward(church members), my neighbors, and my friends. It's about that safe feeling, that peaceful feeling that I get when I drive into my neighborhood. That I have all that I need around me. If I ever need a friend, I have it. If I need a great neighbor, I have it. If I need help with babysitting my kids or a dinner, I would have many lined up to offer it. I feel completely at PEACE with where I live. I love pulling into my driveway after a day of running errands and having that feeling of PEACE that I receive, in turn bringing so much happiness. After saying all this however, Casey and I really feel that right now is the right time to make our BIG move to BURLEY, IDAHO! I am sure most of you are thinking to yourself,"WHERE is Burley", it's my husband's hometown. We have spent a lot of time going over how this move is going to bring on A LOT of changes! Some I am sure we are prepared for and some that we are not. We feel really good about this move and feel that over time we will be able to reach our goals and that Heavenly Father does indeed have a plan for our family in Idaho. I am so grateful for the wonderful opportunity my family and I have had to be brought to a such a special place, for such a special time as this, and even though we are leaving, we are taking much with us, we are leaving with our CUPS completely full. Having learned so much over the past few years and having grown leaps and bounds as a family. I know the Lord has prepared us for what is to COME!!!!

Yeah for your friends here in Idaho. It is hard to leave places when you are "comfortable", but it is in change that we grow and learn the most. Maybe now we could see you more often.

I'm so excited that your coming. I feel so unsensitive saying that, but it's the truth. I can hardly wait. I hope things are going well. I haven't heard from you, so I just assume you're really busy. Seriously take me up on help if you need it. What day are you guys leaving? I know what you mean about moving a lot though. My dad was a army brat and until we moved to SLC. Then we stayed there for 8 years. And that will always be my home. I hope that Burley will be another place you can call home. =) I love your face.

Oh, it was so fun seeing you guys last week. We'll miss having you close enough to see when we go to the Valley, but I really hope that you guys will be happy & content in Idaho. Now you have to update your blog even more often so that we all can see what you're up to in the great North. Break out your parkas! Luv U!
