Uncle Dan's Pumpkin Patch!

Casey's Uncle Dan has been growing pumpkins for years and each fall he sets up his hay bales, corn stalks, and spends hours upon hours hand picking the pumpkins and squash for the kids and people of the community. He also delivers truckloads to all the grocery stores around the area. This year, because of a cold and windy spring, there wasn't as many pumpkins that grew. Also this year, stores are paying double per pound of what they typically do. Because Uncle Dan knows that the people that drive to the pumpkin patch have such a great time coming out, not to mention the school bus loads of children that take field trips to his place during this time of the year, he opted to not sell his pumpkins to the stores and just sell them for his meager charges of $1, $2, $3, and $4, to ensure he had enough for the kids and the community! We have been out twice since coming back to Idaho last week and are heading out again today. Halli, Camry, and Elijah have a great time running around and searching the unpicked field pumpkins for the BIGGEST ones!
