Thanks to some of your help and my determination to accomplish my goal of constant and consistent scripture study as a family, we have officially found a schedule for our family.

I am so thrilled as to what I was able to come up with.
I have decided to wake my kids up 15 mins earlier @ 6:45 a.m(I have them set their clothes out the night before). Then our kids have from 6:45 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. to get dressed, bed made, and hair done. Then we will all meet in the living room at 7:00 a.m. for a family prayer regarding our scripture study and then we spend 15-20 mins studying and reading as a family. Then off to breakfast and picking up. Before we send the kids out the door for school we have a family prayer to start our day, and off the kids go. On the weekends we will be reading in the evenings(we did this over the weekend and it worked good).

Oh, it felt so good to set our new routine in place over the weekend and to start off our first day this week reading as a family and enjoy family prayer all together. I don't think everyday will be easy, however I do know it will be worth it. I had a good friend reminded me that it doesn't have to be routine as far as you hold scripture reading. It can be creative, exciting and fun. In there family they switch it up with fun new things, reading By flashlights etc(I think this will be something I will have great fun with on the weekends). I am a very visual learner so are most of my kids. This is something I am going to keep in mind as things might need to be switched up to encourage a positive learning experience and cut out monotony. The thought to make it fun and exciting is something I look forward to taking on!

Well I am taking baby steps. My goal is to be consistent for 3 weeks, the time it usually takes to make a habit. Then I will move onto a big and better goal!

Hey it has been forever. I've tried to call you a couple times but ya never answer. =) Is your phone # still the same? No leads for jobs right now, but we truly have been blessed. In all actuality we are probably living better now than when Quinn was working. lol Not that we are ok with that however. But we've really been blessed. How's the adoption thing going? Still going? I hope all is well. I miss you tons. Love your face.

Awesome... way to go. Being there last week before school and reading gave Dave and I the desire to start again too. Thanks for sharing and for your example.
