Here's to finding humor in daily things!

I was going to wait until tomorrow to do this but I couldn't.

Things I am grateful for:

* TOILET PAPER-our family has been out of toilet paper for the past two weeks. You would be amazed at what things you succumb to. I just hope nothing backs up! We actually had our daughter Camry come to us so sadly begging for something softer! You should have seen the joy in this house when we realized that one of Elijah's pre-school Halloween projects was made of a roll of toilet paper wrapped in orange fabric to resemble a pumpkin.. Let's just say that pumpkin got carved! You would have thought we won the lottery!

* DIAPERS-I have contemplated cloth diapers because of the expense. Last night before going to bed I told my husband Casey that we were down to 1 diaper and he doesn't get paid until Friday. So I was wondering how we were going to make this happen. All of a sudden there was a knock at the door and two gentlemen from our Ward(church) handed us a box of goodies for Thanksgiving. As tears are streaming down my face we noticed a giftcard at the bottom of the box. $20 to Walmart. The first thing I did this morning was run to walmart and buy diapers. Oh man am I so THANKFUL that I didn't have to succumb to CLOTH DIAPERS!

* GAS MONEY-Now that Casey has a job and will be receiving some paychecks regularly. I am looking forward to knowing that I don't have to clock how long the gas lights been on!

At one time in our lives these were inconsequential things, now they are HUGE blessings in the HERMANSEN HOME!

I found you though Courtney... Cloth diapers aren't that bad. I thought I would hate them. I'll never look back and use disposables. :)

We had very similar experiences when we first moved to Utah and Heath's self employment didn't pick up. We then decided he needed to get a full time job and put off self employment for awhile. He got a full time job and I could finally relax. He still would love to work for himself someday but we want to be more prepared financially when that happens. Hooray for paychecks!:)

Tanya, I'm so glad you found me! It was so fun to see you at Mckay's baptism and have our girls play together. I have loved reading your blog! You are awesome and have so much faith. Good luck with the adoption. I hope you don't mind me adding you to my list!
