Ringing in the New Year!

Ringing in the New Year was so AWESOME.... I LOVED IT. It was so much fun doing it as a family. We celebrated on New York time in our house so it wasn't to late of a night. We danced with the lights off and glow sticks, eat some great treats baked by Halli and Elijah and played games on the wii. It was a very fun night.

Normally we are really lame when it comes to New Year's. We typically put the kids to bed like normal and are in bed ourselves way before the BALL drops. This year something is different. I was really excited to look at the future 2011 year and to welcome it as a family. It also gave me the greatest desire for us to sit down as a family and talk about the many blessing we experienced in 2010.

Here is what our family came up with:
*The Howell Family vacation-inviting us to AZ for two week, hanging at their cabin, clothes shopping, water park, drive in movie theater and playing in their pool.Being able to visit with good friends from our old neighborhood. Great moments were created on this summers trip. Thank you Howell for always being so giving to our family.
*Decorated and painted the kids bedrooms
*Pomerelle snowboarding with the Perry family.
*Accomplish this year's 1st annual Sole 2 Soul adoption fundraiser.
*Watching Elijah play flag football.
*Elijah got baptised.
*Mom was called to teach the Sunday School class of 12 and 13yr. LOVED my class.
*Watching the Livy and Camry dance for the 1st time this year.
*Watch Halli continue to grow and develop as a dancer.
*Becoming more a part of Declo and building new friendships.
*Receiving an amazing SURPRISE in the mail. Michelle knowing we had been without a camera for years sent us the most awe shocking gift. A beautiful cannon powershot sx20is. Thank you PERRY family!
*Tanya taking the time to paint and decorate our home, making it into more of a house for our family.
*Watching out two babies grow up so fast and enjoying each little moment of joy they bring into our home.
*Mom and Dad having the opportunity to go to Canada for Casey's work trip.
*Enjoyed taking trip to Elko,Nv to visit with Aunt Mara, Uncle Dave and Addy.
*Spent a week with Uncle Dave, Aunt Mara and Addy enjoying camping and family time in southern Idaho.

What a wonderful year 2010 was for our family. So many things to be grateful for. I wonder what 2011 has in store for our family? Stay tuned to see what's in store for our family this year.
