What a GIFT!

As I have written many times in the past, it's been real hard for me to blog since we haven't had a camera. There's been many times that we had decided to just buy something little that would do the trick. Every time we went to go do it SOMETHING else came up. The weekend before the GIFT came. Casey and I had found camera at costco with a $60 rebate making it a little over a $100. A little more than we wanted to spend but a good camera with a decent rebate. That weekend the alternator on our van went out. Bye bye camera. Guess what? A week or so later this BOX shows up completely unexpected. I open it and inside was this BEAUTIFUL to good to be true Cannon powershot sx20is. I was shocked to say the least. Inside was a note from our good friends the Perry's that said they knew that we had been without and they wanted give us this camera because they knew how hard it was on us to be without a camera with our kiddos growing and us not being able to capture these moments. Wow I am always happily humbled by the kindness and generosity show to us by our friends. THANK YOU will never be sufficient enough.

Since receiving my new "BABY". I have had a great time taking LOTS of pictures and figuring out all of it's features. I even spent an evening read over 90pgs in the manual. To bad I can't remember it anymore. Old ages stinks:P
Here's a few of my first random pictures.

The Kids and their FRIENDS~The Mowers came down for Elijah baptism Nov. So we went out to Minidoka Dam later that afternoon to hang out and have fun.
