ThOuGhTS FrOm My BrAin, FeEliNgS fRoM My HeARt!!

Okay this for some could be a really crazy question. >"What do I rely on to start my day?" I thought I would throw it out there to see what you all think since it just occurred to me. I am sure some of us may share the same views, while others may not, that's okay ;)!

Okay I was lying in bed the other night contemplating the next morning and what I had to do. I envisioned myself getting ready and then heading to the fridge to get a pop and then grabbing one for the road and then out the door to my doctors apt. Then it occurred to me that I had just quit pop the night before. And for a brief instant, I wondered how I was going to start my day. I relied on my pop to get me going. Then this thought came into my mind,"YOU ARE RELYING ON THE WRONG THING TO GET YOU GOING EACH MORNING." I instantly knew that I needed to rely on the LORD to get me going each morning instead of my pop. Now most of you know that I am already a person that starts each day with a prayer, and continues that throughout my day as needed. However I quickly realized that I didn't rely on Heavenly Father to the degree that I relied on my POP to get me through my day. The more I got to thinking about it I also realized the pop that I was relying on so greatly didn't help me but only hurt me the more I relied on it. Now this may be a stretch, but then it also occurred to me that Satan has a way of tempting us, making us feel as though the things we are doing aren't bad for us and that they won't harm us, and then soon enough we are addicted. If we are addicted to something do you think Satan has some control over us? I know this could sound way out there, however this was something that came to me and I thought it was worth sharing since I had never looked at it this way before. I also must say I now appreciate the WORD of WISDOM a whole lot more and understand how it's applicable in our lives!
